2003 Spring Concert - Moscow International Choir performed CARMINA
BURANA - Carl Orff and a selection of pieces from Russian and English composers in two spring concerts.
2002 Holiday Concert Season - Moscow International Choir performed two holiday concerts at the American Embassy Christmas party at Spaso House and
at St. Andrew's Church to a standing-room only audience. We performed music from Schubert (Messe in G). We
have also invited guest soloists Marat Galiakhmetov, The Bolshoi Theatre; Sharon Wilson, a superb soprano; Vladimir Baikov, laureate
of international competitions.
In the second half of our concert, we sang selected
choruses from "The Messiah" by Handel and holiday carols.
Spring Concerts April 2002 - We performed "Liebeslieder
Walzer" by Brahms and other spring music at the Ukrainian Cultural Center and at St. Andrew's Church. Funds raised went
to the Martha and Mary Cloister.
Holiday Concert at St. Andrew's Church - December
2001
Our concert was a sold-out success! We sang Benjamin Britten's "A
Ceremony of Carols" as well as carols written and arranged by John Rutter. Funds raised went to the Renovation
Fund of St. Andrew's Church.
American Embassy Holiday Party
(2000 and 2001) - Moscow International Choir celebrated the season with Santa Claus and the American Embassy community
by singing songs from our concert seasons and taking part in a Christmas carol sing-a-long.
St. Andrew's Fun
Fest - Moscow International Choir took part in St. Andrew's Fun Fest on June 2, 2001. We performed Go Down Moses,
Loch Lomond, Shenandoah, and Vo Kuznitse. For more info about the Fun Fest, click here:

An International Christmas 2000 - We were invited to perform during St. Andrew's Advent Service. We
also sang Vivaldi's "Gloria" at the first anniversary of rededication of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin
Mary on Malaya Gruzinskaya.
That year's holiday concert was at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in the heart of Moscow. Our Ukrainian audience
was especially pleased to hear "Carol of the Bells", a carol set to the music of a Ukrainian folk song. Funds raised for this
concert went toward programs supported by Action for Russia's Children.
Celebration of Spring 2000 -
We performed at the Gnessin Gostinny Zal for our Spring Concert to raise funds for the Uvarovski Home for Children with Multiple
Handicaps. MIC performed music from Bernstein, Bach, Mendelssohn, Mussorgsky, Faure, and Rachmaninoff. Concert proceeds toward
an International Women's Club project for the Uvarovski Home.
