The Moscow International Choir filled St. Andrew's Church with Mozart's last composition, "Requiem Mass in D Minor"
during its 2007 spring concert.
The FALL 2009 season is about to start on September 15, 2009.
We are singing Vivaldi's Magnificat, along with assorted Christmas carols.
We meet Tuesdays at 7pm in St. Andrew's Church (8, Voznesensky Pereulok).
"The setting is ideal. St. Andrew's church, a drop of foreignness in the ocean of Russia, an idyll of Englishness amidst
Moscow's tower blocks and boulevards, stands out incongruously in its surroundings. The gothic Victoriana, however, compliments
the local styles and aptly creates a measure of harmony...The Moscow International Choir (MIC) is, as the Russians would say,
a kasha; a stew of races, nationalities, ages, talents, professions, amateurs and professionals bought together by a shared
love of singing."
